iSha: Privacy-First Baby Activity Tracker

The iSha app is designed for mobile and tablet screens to allow parents to log, track, and monitor the daily activities for their children. The goal is to do this with a privacy-first mindset.

The iSha app (pronounced “Aisha”) is a free application available on mobile platforms (Android and iOS) to log, track, and monitor the baby activity (such as nappy changes, feed, temperature, and medications) to support parental activities. The objective is to make it easier for new parents to stay on top of what is expected of them; and what their baby expects.

How It Works

This is a free application that can be downloaded for your mobile device.

The iSha app provides native charts to show the weekly, month, or quarterly trends and progress of the baby.

Step One: Download the App

The application is available on your device’s marketplace.

Step Two: Add Details

An intuitive and friendly UI allows you to create records, add data, and track progress in a performant manner. The application has been tested on a wide range of devices to ensure smooth and clear performance.

Track daily activities

The app provides a native view of 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day activity tracking to see the trends and behaviors. This feature is provided for free, while competitors charge for it.

The application is designed to put you in control.

Offline-first

You can use the application without internet, offline, and even in places where there is no network. The data is stored and crunched on the device so that you can always “change the diaper”. A baby does not wait for the internet to come back online to wet their diaper.

Privacy-first

We do not do servers. The data is generated on the devices. It lives on the devices. It can be wiped from the devices to protect the privacy. If you want, you can always get a copy of the data to send. We do not send your data. We have a concept of “enclave” to store your data, so even we don’t touch it.

Parents-first

The application provides vetted responses to questions and situations (such as, how much sleep a baby needs, or my baby is losing weight) so that you have an early answer. The application does not provide an alternative to doctors, medicine practioners or local authorities. When in confusion, check with your doctor.

We’re happy to announce the launch.

The first version of the app has been pushed for review on Play Store as well as App Stores and as soon as the apps are ready and published this page will be updated. If you have any questions, please reach out directly.

The application is governed by the privacy policy for my apps; and this app is special in that we do not collect data generated by you at all (your data, your baby’s data, etc.). We only collect app usage metrics to detect performance bottlenecks or opportunities to make the app better. This is also opt-in, so you need to allow the app to send this information. By default, we do not collect and transmit anything.
